The roots of the Duluth Woman’s Club date back to 1889 where Mrs J. L. Washburn was instrumental in helping organize woman of Duluth in a single organization as part of the growing need for women to experience cultural and civic endeavors.
The DWC Board has voted to close the club for in-person Friday lunches and programs for January but leave the Tuesday/Wednesday groups in-person participation up to each group. I want to assure you that this decision was thoroughly reviewed and we understand the disappointment that can go along with a difficult decision.
Further review will follow pending the Covid situation.
