“Almost Man: A Return to Churchill” 

The Inuit people call the polar bear Na’nuq, the Master of Bears. They believe he is powerful, mighty and “almost man.” After taking a year off in 2019 to visit Svalbard, and a postponement in 2020 due to COVID, Char returned to Churchill, Manitoba in November 2021, to see her bears. Come and share her adventure and see why the polar bear is

Camera Club Meeting

Let’s get together on Friday, May 13 at 2 pm at the club. We will be inspired by Char Taylor’s Churchill photographs during the program before gathering to review phone/tablet settings and go over successes and challenges. It’s been too long! Hope to see you on Friday.

Please volunteer to be a docent for the July 20 Tour of Homes and Gardens.

There is a green bordered sign-up sheet at the entrance of the club. You can also email Char McConnell at charlene.mcconnell@gmail for home docents or Linda Van Etta at lindavanetta0823@gmail.com or Ruth Westra at ruthewestra@gmail.com for garden docents. This will be a great tour!
