Thank you to the brave men and women who
have made the ultimate sacrifice.

If you are interested in forming an Ad Hoc committee to produce a hard copy Membership Directory, please let me know.  This would be in addition to the Directory we currently have online.  The hard copy Directory would then be available by September 2021.  Thank you.

Watch This Space

Mark your calendars for Friday, June 25 for a catered picnic at our own DWC house. We’ll have the terrace (weather permitting) and the garden room open for dining. We’ll start at 11:30 with 30 minutes of catching up before sitting down to eat. More details to come.

Our June Community Outreach project will be helping to support the YWCA Spirit Valley Young Mothers Program.
This program provides a safe and supportive place for young mothers age 16+ and their infants.
The goal of this program is to keep young mothers in school and help them to be self-sufficient.
We will be collecting the following during the month of June:

* Gift cards to grocery stores
* Pots, pans, other basic kitchen necessities
* Hygiene items
* Towels
* Diapers, wipes, etc

 Stay tuned for July’s event. The Animal Allies Walk For Animals is happening in-person again this year!!

Do you want to play bridge this summer? We are planning for June at this time. Please notify Sandy Keyser of all Tuesdays in June that you can play (218-728-1787 or sandrabkeyser@gmail.com).
Hoping to see you soon!

The Mainly Mysteries Book Club will meet on Thursday, June 10 at 12 noon.
We are reading “The Secret Life of Bees” by Sue Monk Kidd and the discussion will
be led by JoAnn.  This is not a mystery!
