Re-discovering Wonder:
Great Lakes Aquarium
2021 and beyond
What happens when everything shuts down and we still have to care for a building full of animals? We will take a look at what the impacts of the pandemic have been on Great Lakes Aquarium since 2020. The story of the last year is marked by the passion and innovation of our staff and volunteers. I will share stories about the surprising ways we have remained connected to our guests and community in a uncertain time. Even a pandemic hasn’t stopped our creativity. Join me to learn more about new exhibits and programing happening in 2021.Reservations with Rolene Lampi Rolenelampi@gmail.com

Superior Photo Walk: Wednesday, May 12
Let’s see what’s springing in Superior! Looking forward to exploring the Millennium Trail on Wednesday, May 12 at 1 pm. This paved trail runs through the Superior Municipal Forest and will be an easy walk through the woods. Here’s to ferns unfurling, leaves returning and wildflower watch.
Directions from downtown Duluth:
Take I-35 south to the I-535 exit. Lanes have changed during construction, and well marked.
Cross the Blatnik High Bridge to Superior.
Go south on Hammond Avenue for about 2 miles to 28th Street.
Take a right on 28th Street and go about a mile to
Wyoming Avenue. Turn left on Wyoming Avenue to the
Millennium Trail parking lot.
