Spring Shower
Thank you to those who bid last week. We made $375! These items will be available for the week of the DWC Spring Shower, March 7 through March 13. Just like the Bizarre Bazaar, email your bids to roseyrita@mac.comby midnight, Saturday March 13!
1. Help pay for new shelves for our cooler in the kitchen. The current ones are very rusty and should be replaced before we turn the cooler back on. Bid: $25 and up, unlimited.
2. Another creation by Judy Rocchio. 13 inch Spring Lakeside pinecone wreath, as decorated. $50.00, only one available.
3. Open for a second week, help stretch our bucks and main level carpet, and have it cleaned too! Bid $25 and up, unlimited.
4. Drawing fun with Rosemary. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! You do not need to draw a straight line. You will be doing some fun exercises with a variety of drawing tools. A unique 2 hour class to be scheduled in April or May at the Duluth Woman’s Club. Limited to 6, socially distanced and masked participants. Materials will be provided. Minimum bid $15 each, limited to six people.

Mainly Mysteries
The Mainly Mysteries Bookclub will meet on
Tuesday, April 13, at 10:00 at the Club.
We will read “The Better Sister” by Alafair Burke and the
discussion will be lead by Rosemary.
Masks and social distancing will be observed.

Cabi Spring Fashion Showcase: March 18
Mark your calendars for the Cabi Fashion Showcase on March 18. You’ll get to see the new spring line and purchase something to wear when the club reopens.
Clothing will be available to try on, and the Cabi rep will be on-site to advise. We’ll publish time slots shortly so we can maintain social distancing. Please wear a mask when you come.

Photo Walk: Tuesday, March 9th, 1 pm
Spring is in the air! Let’s explore Leif Erikson Park during a photo walk on Tuesday, March 9 at 1 pm. We will meet at the parking lot by the Rose Garden on 13th Avenue East and London Road. We will check out Leif Erikson Park and walk on the paved Lakewalk toward Fitgers. If you would rather skip the walk, join us for chatting in the park. Here’s to warmer temps!
