Week of July 25 – July 29, 2022
Tour of Homes & Gardens
Thank you for making the 2022 DWC Tour of Homes & Gardens a resounding success!
None of this would have been possible without the dedicated club volunteers and our club Administrator, Jeri, who tirelessly met the challenges of the many details.
The DTA bus turnaround was converted into an outdoor dining area, with special menus offered by local food trucks from Valentini’s, Oasis del Norte and Love Creamery. The vendors were thrilled.
Now for the GREAT NEWS! 406 tickets were sold for a total of $16,240! On top of that, our sponsors pledged $4,700 in donations, for a grand total of $20,950!!! Of course, there were some expenses for engraved stone gifts to homeowners and many new signs and date patches for a little over $500.
Not bad for a “day’s work”, ladies!
It was a sincere pleasure working with all of you,
