GREAT NEWS. First, the tuckpointing has begun at the front of the club!  An independent contractor will have much of that area done by the time of the tour! More to come.
More GREAT NEWS: Last Tuesday, the Duluth Planning Commission unanimously approved the sale of our vacant lot! An action letter is  being created to accompany the
land description to be recorded by the county.
Then, it can be offered for sale!

Although the club has received generous donations toward reopening the kitchen, there is another item that needs attention. The floor of the walk-in cooler is a rusty disgrace. Ellie called the Health Department to see what could be done, and it is NOT a product like Rustoleum. They said the only manufacturer in Duluth of an approved stainless floor covering was  Sheet Metal Solutions. They came, measured, and came up with a quote of $940, which is actually quite reasonable for stainless steel. So…we are asking for a few additional dollars from our generous members. Every dollar helps. Thank you for your consideration.

The Mainly Mysteries next meeting is Thursday, August 12th at 12:00.  We are reading “Anxious People” by
Fredrick Backman and Mary Overland will be
leading the Discussion.
