WATCH THIS SPACE

We’re planning summer activities, and you will be able to receive information about them by WATCHING THIS SPACE!

Mark your calendars for Friday, June 25 for a catered picnic at our own DWC house. We’ll have the terrace (weather permitting) and the garden room open for dining. We’ll start at 11:30 with 30 minutes of catching up before sitting down to eat. More details to come.

Hanging Baskets

Springtime hanging baskets are available through the Duluth Woman’s Club and raise some dollars.  Once again we will be offering coupons for a 10 inch hanging basket ($39.99 value) for $30. The baskets come from Lilac Hill Greenhouse (formerly Engwall’s) and can be picked up from May 12 through May 31
at Hermantown Garden Center or the
 Kenwood Garden Center in
Kenwood Shopping Center.
Please call me at 218-390-8426.
Coupons will be available until May 8!
We will make $6 on each basket sold.
Thank you for taking part in this fundraiser

Tour of Homes and Gardens is back!

We are so excited to share that the DWC Tour of Homes and Gardens is back! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 21 from 10 am to 4 pm. Since the club’s kitchen remains closed, planning committee members have lined up food trucks for Superior Street, where tour guests may purchase their own lunches. Tables and chairs will be set up in the bus turnaround, providing a gathering place. The DWC clubhouse will be one of the 5 beautiful homes on the tour, as well as 3 spectacular gardens. Thank you for helping spread the word that the tour is on, at a reduced price of $30. As the main fundraiser for the club, please say “yes” to volunteering to help make this reimagined tour a success. Ticket sales begin June 1, and CDC Covid-19 guidelines are being followed. Questions? Email Lucy Kragness at: lucykragness@gmail.com

Photo Walk: Thursday, April 22
Spring is here! Let’s see what we find exploring the Rose Garden area and Leif Erikson Park during a photo walk on Thursday, April 22 at 1 pm. We will meet at the parking lot by the Rose Garden on 13th Avenue East and London Road. We will check out Leif Erikson Park and walk on the paved Lakewalk toward Fitgers. If you would rather skip the walk, there are benches in the park to relax while (hopefully) enjoying the shipping traffic on the lake.
