Week of April 11 – April 15, 2022
April 13, 2022
Club Administrator
We are happy to announce that Jerallyn (Jeri) Sobczak has accepted the position of Club Administrator. She is a native Duluthian and has lived on Park Point for well over a decade. Her main occupation was running her own Mortgage Company and raising two children. She is now a grandma of 2.
Jeri likes to keep busy! In addition to running her business she has worked at the Pickwick, Spirit Mountain (banquets, events, and bar at the top Chalet), and managed the new Grand Ave Chalet. Most recently she managed the restaurant bar and events at Clyde Iron prior to COVID. She is excited to get to know all of our members and help our organization thrive!

Women students at St Scholastica asked if we are interested in a mentoring program…. they think of the DWC as an inspirational organization, want to get to know us better and learn how to navigate career paths from professional women. We will host a meet and greet on Tuesday, April 12 from 5-7 pm at the club. We will serve coffee, tea and light snacks. Please come to meet and chat with these women. Call or email Pam Williams (202-352-8168 or pamelarwilliams52@gmail.com) to attend.
The Tour of Homes and Gardens is coming July 20th. It’s not too soon to begin planning! We are going to need MANY house docents. To volunteer, please email Char McConnell, house committee chair, at charlene.mcconnell@gmail.com. This is going to be an exciting tour – our 54th!
