We hope that you enjoy this compilation of videos from just some of the activities at the Duluth Womans Club from 2021-22. This video was shared in April at a fun gathering at the club. Enjoy!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Bravo, talented members of the Designing Committee, who enhance the beauty of the Duluth Womans Club throughout the year.

2021 Cabaret

We hope that you enjoy this special program by members of the Duluth Womans Club. For many years, Jean Olson has led the Cabaret members in bringing joy to members and guests during the holiday season. This year’s program brings a message of hope to all of us.

In the community

These DWC members attended the fall fundraising dinner in support of the Program to Aid Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA) on October 22, 2021 at Clyde Iron. They are pictured here with Bonney Bowman, an anchor from KBJR-TV evening news, who was the program emcee. From the left are Lucy Kragness, Marisa Hoogenakker, Bonney Bowman, Pam Williams and Rolene Lampi.

Living Walls

Bill and Kate Isles presented a program on “Living Walls” at the club on Friday, October 1. The stunning living wall systems are eco-friendly and bring the outdoors inside to beautify your environment. The talented acoustic singer/songwriter duo also shared their delightful musical talent with us.

Spreading love one stitch at a time

DWC members Helen Smith Stone and Candy Adams are featured in this February 23, 2021 story on Fox 21. Northern Lights Machine Quilters Guild members have so far made 60 quilts in their year-long project for children and their families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Northland, which recently opened in Duluth. As Helen shared during the interview: “Quilts are made with love one stitch at a time.”

Helping in the community

Members of the Duluth Womans Club help out in many ways throughout our community. Last June, 26 club members and guests assembled over 6,000 face shields that were sent to Essentia Health. That’s 402 in 15 minutes! Members also raised $1,000 for Safe Haven Shelter for Battered Women.
