MYTHS AND LEGENDS OF THE NIGHT SKY

Once you are feelings comfortably full of tasty food, James Rock of UMD's Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium's educational program will present his outstanding program "The Native American Skies". He will describe to you what the earliest Americans saw, present intriguing artifacts and tell us the myths and legends of the night sky. They differ substantially from the stories we hear that were interpreted by early Americans.
